Limited autumn Junmai Daiginjo of Horai, a famous sake brand in Gifu prefecture. Only 1,500 bottles are produced.
With the notes of peach, green apple, strawberries and marshmallow, this Junmai Daiginjo is fruity and sweet on the attack. It shows hints of grass on the finish, so the balance is great. Since it is only pasteurized once with short ageing period, it is still young, fresh and clean. An excellent autumn sake. Only 1,500 bottles are produced because it is brewed using "Aiyama", a very rare rice that it took the brewery up to 3 years to purchase.
