Different from normal ones, this Junmai Daiginjo is brewed with wine yeast and exudes a charming banana-like aroma. Mellow, refreshing and surprising.
100% brewed with Gohyakumangoku sake rice produced in Niigata Prefecture and fermentated by wine yeast, the taste is unique and different from normal sakes. The umami and sweetness of the sake rice slowly spread on the tip of the tongue at first and you can feel the refreshing sweetness with the notes of bananas and pears like white wine afterwards. The alcohol concentration is only 12% which is lower than that of normal sakes, so even new comers can also easily drink. It is also a good choice to be a dessert wine after a meal.
