Gold medal winning sake at Annual Japan Sake Awards over 10 years in a row. The flagship Daiginjo of Okunomatsu, a well-known brewery with over 300 years of history.
With the notes of melon and strawberry as well as hints of cream cheese and milk, this Daiginjo is fruity and elegant overall. Drip pressed, it is also delicate and complex. Soft and sweet on the attack, it is well-textured with a refreshing finish, so the balance is great. As their flagship Daiginjo, Okunomatsu especially names it after the owner of the first generation, "Juhachidai Ihei".
