class=\"ttl\"\u003e[history]\u003c\/p\u003e\n石川酒造の歴史は文久3年（1863）に始まります。多摩川の対岸、小川村（現在のあきる野市）の森田酒造の蔵を借りて13代当主和吉が酒造りを始めました。石川酒造では、明治21年2月からビールの醸造を開始し、6月から「日本麦酒」（英文ラベルはJAPAN BEER）の名称で近在や東京・横浜へ販売しました。\n\u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003cdiv\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"ttl\"\u003e[location]\u003c\/p\u003e\n昔ながらの慣習通り、秋から初春の頃にだけ仕込みを行う「寒造り」といわれる造り方をしています。お酒造りに使用する仕込み水は敷地の地下150mより汲み上げる東京の天然水(中硬水)。
